The Secret Traffic Building

The Secret Traffic Building for Blog

When it comes to building traffic there are many methods and strategies.  Some cost money and others do not.  SEO (Search Egnine Optimization) for example, although can take time is a free, organic way to generate potentially longterm and consistent traffic. On the hand, Facebook Ads is a ‘paid’ traffic source.  Although it can be costly at first, over time you can get a good return on investment (ROI)and it is a highly scaleable advertising platform. In this short report I will be explaining TWO different traffic strategies.  One will be FREE and then other one will be paid.  However, both of them can be effective in driving traffic.

The FREE Strategy
Before I proceed with this first strategy I first want to explainsomething to you.  Something quite obvious but something that many look beyond. When people think about traffic sources they automatically think about entities such as Google, Twitter and Youtube.  The major platforms and ‘players’.  To some degree they are right to think about those. However, the web is much bigger than those. The web is a super large network of sites that is forever evolving and expanding.  It caters for EVERY single niche, topic and theme imaginable. It is somewhat one giant space that has been fragmented into billions of pieces. Here’s the thing. Each of these sites (or fragmented pieces) are a potential place for you to advertise.  You can create a list of potential keywords and find some excellent sites that are already ranking at the top of Google.  They have already done the hard work.  You can simply tap into their audience and bring website visitors over to your own sites (or offers).

How do you do that? Simple. You perform some Google searches that is relevant to your site to find top quality, active sites (and posts). Posts that you can engage with and effectively ‘stamp your mark on’. This is of course done in the form of a comment. These sites are already ranking at the top of Google for your main keywords so why compete with them when you can ‘piggy back’ them. Most big authority sites have some form of commenting platform built-in. These might be Wordpress, Disqus or even the Facebook commenting widget. If you have any notions running through your head right now about ‘blog comment spamming’ then get that out of your head right now.  This is in no way, shape or form related to comment spamming. What you would be doing is exactly what the site / blog author would want you to do, and that is engage with their content and audience and add value to their site. After all, if an active, authority site did not want comments on their site they would not have a commenting feature.  Right? Here’s how to do it the right way.

Show that you’re real First of all you need to connect with them and show that you’re real.  A simple way to do this is to start off by referencing their name.  This would be the name of the ‘Post Author’ which is usually visible above or below their article. If their name is Paul, then start with some thing like –“Hey Paul, just came across your article about...
.”.This will strike rapport instantly and will show that you weren’t an automated bot.
