Re enforce and reference

Re enforce and reference

You then need to re-enforce and reference their article and some of the points they made.  This does TWO things.  It proves that you spent time to read their article, as well as aligning yourself with their views.  It’s a form of flattery, and that is something they like other visitors to see. This might go something like this–“I loved the point you made about XXX.  It makes sense that XXX would be a good way to XXX. Gain authority and add value The next step is an important one.  You need to gain authority and add value to their post.  This will mostly do TWO things. First it will position you as a knowledge - gable authority figure to anyone who lands on that page and reads your comment.  Trust me, lots of visitors read the co mments on high quality sites and posts.

It will also add value to the authors article which is something they really want to see.  It will also set you up perfectly for the next steps. To do this you provide an additional tip that would complement the authors article.  Either tips, information, additional knowledge or something along those lines. Show respect and add a relevant ‘Call to Action’ This next step is the part that will enable you to get traffic from this site to your OWN site. We ASK if it is ok to SHARE a resource with their visitors as you think they will benefit from it. By asking you are being respectful of their sites and rules.  You are handing them control and that in itself is a form of flattery. Your resource could be a relevant article on your blog .  You might have a ‘popup’ to collect leads on your blog, or you might have ‘ads’ or a strong call to action on your blogs article. There are lots of ways to benefit. Your resource might be a free course, video series, or software tool that they can opt-in for via a squeeze page. Providing you ask permission and explain WHY it would be beneficial to their visitors you will have no problems. Once you have applied the above steps and completed your comment you will see just how ‘quality’and value-able your comment is.  Site owners and content authors LOVE that. Every single comment like this that I have posted on a high-quality blog have been ‘approved’.

Every single time.It works and you don’t have to be a scientist to understand why.The golden rule here is to spend just a couple of minutes reading their article or post first, then spend another minute or two writing a substantial, quality comment. That 5 minutes you spend could, and possible will result in a consistent stream of website visitors, leads and possible sales.  Even if it is just a trickle. Imagine having 200, or even 500 quality comments on hundreds of authority sites like this across the web.  How much DAILY traffic do you think that would amount to. It’s worth putting the time in and it works.  Plain and simple.Ok, let’s now turn our attention to the ‘paid traffic’strategy. The PAID Strategy This strategy uses the same concept as the ‘FREE’ strategy.  As in, we utilizerelevant, individual sites.  However, instead of leaving comments we are lookin g for opportunities to place banner ads on their site. There are TWO types of sites that we can look for.  First, there are sites that are looking for ‘advertisers’.  This means they already have a page with their ad opportunities, site statistics and fee’s.

Some of these use an advertising plat form such as ‘BuyandSellAds’. Then there is the other type of site where they might receive decent traffic through to their site each month, week or even day but just don’t realise their sites potential... or how to monetize it. Both of these ‘types’ are good to target, although you might get the ‘better’ pricing from the latter. So, how do you find these sites. To find the first type (ones that are looking for advertisers) you can do the following. Search Google using a similar string to this (assuming that your niche is ‘dog training’)...? Dog training “advertise here”? Dog training “advertise with us”? Dog training classes “advertise here”? Dog training tips “advertise with us” These are just a FEW examples.Try and steer clear form using just “advertise”as that word may appear frequently within content where the site doesn’t offer advertising.  So be sure to include a string such as “advertise with us”, or “advertise here”. If you click through and it doesn’t take you straight to the advertising page look through the menu or footer items and you should seea link that says something like ‘Advertise’. Take a note of the traffic, cost per impressions and also WHERE that traffic is mostly coming from (ie –US,UK, India etc). After you have collated lots of data you can then choose which sites to advertise with. For the second type of site.  The type where they are not actively looking for advertisers (Because they might not have given it much thought), do the following. Search Google using a similar string to...? Dog training blog? Dog training personal blog This will not return ‘mainstream’ sites, but instead return smaller, personal sites from bloggers who are passionate about ‘dog training’(or whatever your niche is).

To find out a little more about their site you can look them up on sites such as ‘Alexa.com’.  There are others too so do your research.  See what traffic ranking they have, and what keywords they mostly get their traffic from. Another way to see if they have an active blog is to check how frequently they post content whether they receive any blog comments. Another great way to see if they get traffic is to see if they have any ‘Social Sharing’ buttons and stats on their site and posts.  If they have a week old post that has 20 Facebook Shares and 5 Tweets then you know that people are visiting their site. The next step is simple – Content them via their contact page, introduce yourself and ask if they would be interested in letting you adda banner to their site (or specific posts) in exchange for some CASH. Of course it will be relevantto their sites content and EVERYONE loves cash to some degree.  After all, it is what makes the world go around. It might be that they just never knew how to make money with their passion. This particular strategy (like the FREE traffic strategy) is a numbers game.  The more people you reach out to the more people will do a deal with you.  The more banners that you place on active, relevant sites, the more clicks and traffic you will receive. You’d be surprised how much quality traffic you could get from a $25 per month banner.

I hope that you enjoyed this short report, and that it got your creative juices flowing. Keep on keeping on! To your success
